Tucked away on New Zealand’s Northland coast, Matauri Bay is one of those places that feels like you’ve discovered it yourself.
Wide, untouched beaches. Clear water. Dramatic coastline. It’s quiet, remote and incredibly beautiful without trying too hard.
This is where we take groups that want something different. You can spend the morning walking coastal tracks or out on the water, and the afternoon completely switched off. It’s equal parts relaxation and exploration, without the crowds or overdevelopment you find in more commercial destinations.
What makes it special is the balance. It’s raw and natural, but still delivers a premium experience when you need it.
